Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 June 2026
Calcver ("we", "us", "our") operates the website calcver.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our converters, calculators and generators, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Tool inputs stay on your device. The numbers, colours, dates and text you type into our tools are processed entirely in your browser. We do not send them to our servers or store them — with the single exception of comments you choose to post (below).
- Comments. If you post on our Comments page, the name (optional) and message you submit are stored and shown publicly. Don't include sensitive personal information.
- Usage data. Like most sites, we automatically receive standard log and analytics data — such as your approximate location, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring site — collected via cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Advertising — we use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe).
Your consent choices
When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you Accept or Decline cookies used for personalised advertising. We use Google Consent Mode, so until you accept, advertising cookies are set to "denied." You can change your choice any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. If you are in the EEA or UK, ads will be non-personalised unless you consent.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data held about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to have a comment you posted removed, contact us at support@findmybay.com.
Data retention and security
Analytics data is retained according to Google's settings. Comments remain until you or we remove them. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Third-party links
Our pages may link to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
